Job Ad & Profile Description
Position : Warehouse Manager
Job Purpose
To manage and plan Raw material inventory, Procurement, General stores and Finished Goods inventory and ensure no stock outs or production delays.
Responsibilities:
To account for zero stock outs or production delays on a daily basis.
- Reconcile items below minimum balance.
- Timeously and accurate recording of daily issues and receipts.
- Daily and weekly inventory control of
- Raw materials and maintenance items.
- Cycle counts conducted in accordance of financial policy and procedures.
To ensure finished goods warehouse comply with company procedures.
- Daily warehousing to match all loading tickets processed.
- No unmatched documentation.
- All shipments to OEM’S in line with set requirements.
- All released shipped in accordance of FIFO.
- Daily cycle counts to be conducted to ensure correct inventory holdings.
- Housekeeping in accordance of company set standards.
To ensure Procurement function within and according to Bridgestone policy.
- Contracts to be reviewed 6 monthly.
- Tender procedures in accordance of set parameters.
- Price variances to be investigated and corrected before creditors cut off.
- Vendor quotes maintained and reviewed. Authorization levels maintained. Purchase order quotations
- Maintained as per company policy.
To ensure that SHEQ management systems are implemented and maintained on a continuous basis.
- ISO 14001 – Environmental Management System
- ISO 18001 – OHSAS
- Attend quarterly Committee meetings
- Clearance of audit findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct incident/accident investigations.
- Conduct monthly SHE meetings of responsible departments and complete minutes.
- Control and appoint SHE representatives.
Control departmental cost
- Weekend overtime cost
- Daily supplies and expenditure
- Head count as per approved budget.
Conduct audit and inventory tag counts.
- Daily and weekly cycle counts
- Investigate variances.
- Implement countermeasures to ensure no stock losses.
Required profile for job ad : Warehouse Manager
Requirements
- Botswana Citizen (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum National Higher Diploma in Logistics Management
- B Tech / Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ stores management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have experience in inventory management
- Must have forecasting experience
- SAP (Advantageous)
- Imports and Exports Experience
- Valid Drivers Licence
